hey, i dont give a [edited] what u say bout street racing, the people who die are just punk teenagers and punks who are inexperienced and are showing off to their friends or girlfriends!!!!!!! if you have the experience, the knowledge, know ur car or bike inside and out, and know what you are doing, we have every riht to race and our reasons are because we don’t have the money to pay crews and sponsors! along with that, their are NO CLASSES FOR ARE HIGH HORSEPOWER OUTPUT AND FUELS AND HIGH BLOWER OVERDRIVE WHICH IS OVER 50% effiency!!!!!!!!
After reading the article I noticed what I consider to be a valid point, none of the guys they interviewed at the crushing had actually been racing when their cars were confiscated. They were pulled over for minor traffic violations. Then the supposed “Hot Parts” were found. Sounds like targeting to me, as the one guy claimed.
Is street racing illegal? Yep it sure is, in every state as far as I know. But like the old adage says “Rules were made to be broken”. Every form of racing we have here in America started out as an illegal activity. Drag racing started with illegal street racing, NASCAR started with Moonshiners, Indy started as illegal road racing.
Something else to think about, if guys and gals quite taking it to the streets, how long do you think the after market hot rod parts companies would stay in business? Most of the performance parts sold are for street cars not official race cars.
Traffic death toll for 2008 is 31,110 across the country, that number is down from 2007. How many of those deaths do you think were caused by street racers? I would hazard a guess that the majority were caused by jerks driving while drinking a latte’, texting and yaking on their cellphone.
hey u guys need to learn to take it to a track where inocent people cant get hurt. i mean yea i race my stang but i do it on a track. how would you feel if u took a turn doing 70mph and had a balljoint prematurly fail causing you to hit and kill a single moher of 2 on her way home from work. u would feel like sh!t wouldnt u think about ur actions before u do them. this is my rant for the day peace out
