Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

LOL is that what you young people would say in this cases? Hello there, i’m a 84 years old grandfather and I’ve just found this website in my browser history. My nephew used my laptop the last time he went here, I believe… he says LOL pretty often but I’ve started to undertand what it means only recently but he’s a good boy after all. (My client has an Acer 4810TZG laptop running Win 7 Home Premium) Win 7 and IE are fully up to datre. If I run IE and then close it down, the shortcut icons on the desktop no longer ligp in response to the mouse / trackpad, nor do the shortcuts work. However shortcut icons in the taskbar continue to work normally. Likewise shortcuts from the Start Menu also work fine. The programs also once loaded work normally. If I drag an icon from the Start Menu onto the desktop it appears but it still doesn’t function. The only way to get desktop icons to work normally is to reboot!! Suggestions please?
